It seems these days you can’t have enough USB outlets in a car, even a competition car.

This product provides you with a Quick Charge 3.0 USB outlets suitable for charging or running even the most power hungry USB devices. Phones, GPS devices, even our own Rally Clock and a digital voltmeter reading battery/alternator voltage. Whilst it will never prevent a failure, spotting an ailing alternator early can mean you get it swapped at service or can help you avoid a long walk on a road rally, turning back or cutting and using minimal lights might just get you to the finish.

With its own power switch all you need do is power it up from a fused 12v supply.
